Meta Funds Doses AI

Doses AI has secured strategic funding from Meta as part of their initiative to back AI-driven health innovation across Europe. The investment underscores Meta's confidence in the potential of open-source AI models like Llama to transform healthcare verification and patient safety.

The funding will accelerate Doses AI's expansion across the UK, enabling the platform to onboard more partner pharmacies and strengthen its AI analysis pipeline. With Meta's Llama model already powering the platform's private prescription analysis, this partnership deepens the collaboration between the two companies.

“This investment from Meta validates our approach to using open-source AI for healthcare,” said the Doses AI team. “Every prescription analysed by Llama stays within our own infrastructure — no patient data is ever shared externally. Meta's support allows us to scale this safe, private approach to more patients and clinicians across the NHS.”

Dosewolf Receives Apple's App of the Day

Dosewolf, the medication tracking companion app built by the Doses AI team, has been awarded Apple's prestigious “App of the Day” feature on the App Store. The recognition highlights the app's elegant approach to helping patients manage their daily medication schedules.

Dosewolf allows patients to set reminders, track adherence, and log side effects — all without requiring an account or sharing data with third parties. The app integrates seamlessly with the Doses AI prescription tracking system, giving patients a complete view of their medications from prescription to daily use.

Apple's editorial team praised the app for its “clean, intuitive design and unwavering commitment to patient privacy.” Dosewolf is available for free on the App Store and has been downloaded over 50,000 times since its launch in September 2025.
